The Yak Jones Foundation was founded in 2015 and officially launched in 2016. The Foundation focuses on promoting literacy in Sierra Leone. We believe that reading is the foundation for all learning.
We provide books and learning materials to under-resourced schools.
We equip schools with mobile libraries and learners with solar lamps.
We advocate for the importance of reading and literacy.
We assist in the setting-up or rehabilitation of school and community libraries.
